Editing Your Central Claim:
Your Central Claim should begin in one of two ways...

The second half of your central claim should complete the sentence and BRIEFLY state your two main points of support. For example...
...because in person schooling benefits students mental and physical health.
...because the risk of infection at school endangers both students and their families.

Your central claim is ONE SENTENCE ONLY!
If your central claim is current more than one sentence, EDIT it before placing it Outline #1

Writing Your Supporting Claims (2)
Like the central claim, each supporting claim should be one sentence only.
Writing the supporting claims should be very easy if your central claim stated clear reasons in its "because..."

Examples for Supporting Claims...
In person schooling is vital to the mental health of teenagers.
Distance learning reduces the physical exercise and movement that teenagers require to stay healthy.
Recent school openings have resulted in spikes in Covid-19 infections, demonstrating the danger in person schooling.
Young people tend to be asymptomatic carriers of Covid-19, making in-person schooling a danger to more at-risk members of their household.
