Mathematics includes the study of such topics as quantity, structure, space, and change. It has no generally accepted definition. Mathematicians seek and use patterns to formulate new conjectures; they resolve the truth or falsity of such by mathematical proof

Integers

An integer is colloquially defined as a number that can be written without a fractional component. For example, 21, 4, 0, and −2048 are integers, while 9.75, 5+, and √2 are not

Integers Line

Integers can be represented on the number line. On a number line, the positive numbers are to the right of zero and the negative numbers are to the left of zero. Example: An integer on the horizontal number line is greater than the number on its left and less than the number on its right.
