Countable and Uncountable nouns

Nouns can be countable or uncountable.

Countable nouns can be counted, that is, can be used in the singular and plural forms.

Uncountable nouns, as the term suggests, cannot be counted. Therefore, they cannot be used in the plural form. When an uncountable noun is used, the verb should also be in the singular form.
