Compare Numbers

The whole numbers are all 2. That's no help, go to the tenths place.

I see two three's, a four and a five. The two three's finish first and second, but the four finishes third, which is what I am looking for.

Decimals?

Decimal format seems to be the easiest way to compare numbers.

 $68\%=0.68$  
 $-\frac{17}{3}=-5.\overline{6}$  

The two negatives are the smallest.
Answer:
 $6.42,\ 0.68,\ -\frac{17}{3},\ -6.7$  

What?

They want to know which number below is between $7.2$ and  $\frac{4}{7}=0.5714285714$ 

The answer should be obvious: 2.7504
