Open Ended

Does anyone have a "disaster" story of items being left in pockets and going through the washer? If not, please submit the word "No"

I'll share a couple too!! 🥴🥴

24

Laundry disaster

This is my disaster story....
When my kids were getting older they'd still wear pull-ups to bed at night in case they had an accident. They usually didn't and they were old enough to get dressed on their own so they'd do that when they woke up. A few times my son would take off his pants with his pull-up still in them and it would end up in the dirty clothes hamper and then the washer. Had I checked I would have found them but I didn't so it would go through the washer and explode. Diapers are full of a tiny little gel (like orbeez) that absorbs liquids. The gel would get EVERYWHERE on all the other clothes. It was a nightmare to clean up when it happened. I'd have to take clothes out of the washer one by one and vacuum off the gel. Then I'd have to clean out the washer. Finally, I'd have to put the clothes back in to be cleaned!
