Introduction

Database is the arrangment of data in manner where it can be retieved easily. Microsoft Access is a data base program that is used for storing all kinds of information in the form of the tables, queries, forms, reports, etc

Some Important Terms Related To Database

• Database it is an integreated collections of logically-relateds records in the form of the table that offers an organised mechanism for storing and retrieving informations

• Data Base Management system(DBMS) it is a set of computers program thats controls the creation, maintanance and the used of database in the computers by the users

• Table it is a collection of related informations in the form of rows and columns.

• Record it is complete information arranged horizontally in a table

• Field it is a column arranged vertically in a table that stores the information of the same type

• Facillitates sharing of data
