Verb BE and Adjectives

Remember how we use adjectives with verb BE.

Estructure 01

• Verb BE + adjective

• Maria is happy.

• John and Sam's jobs are dangerous.

• Verb BE + adjective + noun

• Maria is a happy person.

• Being an electrician is a dangerous job.

Unscramble the words and write sentences.

Possessive Adjectives

• My (I)

• Your (you)

• His (he)

• Her (she)

• Its (it)

• Our (we)

• Their (they)

Exercise 03

Complete the sentences with the appropriate Possessive adjective.

The Possessive noun

• Write the 's to the possessor.

• With two or more possessors, just add the 's to the last one.

• When the possessor is in plural (with s) just add the apostrophe (')

• Do not use the possessive nouns with inanimated possessors.
