Definition of Descriptive
@Descriptive text is kind of text which list the characteristics of persons, places, or things or describing living and non living things such as plant, animals, building, plane, etc.

The purpose:
To describe a particular person, object, and place. It describes the characteristics or features of a person, object, or place specifically.
The structure:
• Identification, which identifies the phenomenon to be described.
• Description, which describes parts, qualities or characteristics of the person, object or place being described.

Noun Phrases for Describing an Object or a Place
Definition:
A series of words where a noun as a head is preceded by an adjective as a modifier.
The purpose of adjectives is to modify or describe the nouns, to give more information about the nouns or noun phrases.
Many adjectives precede the nouns or noun phrases. See the following examples.
• The beautiful beach is called Pink Beach.

Descriptve text
Singapore is a city state; it is a city but it is also a state. It is a republic. Along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Brunei, it belongs to ASEAN, the Association of South-East Asia.
Like Indonesia, Singapore is country of “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”. Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Eurasians make up its citizen. Other Asians, including Indonesians, Japanese, Philippines, Koreans, Thais, and Arabs also live on that tiny is land. Singapore is sometimes called”instant Asis” because you can see varieties of customs, cultures, and foods of nearly all Asia in Singapore.
