How we can make Hydrogen in laboratory and observe its presence by doing a simple test

Procedure to Make the Hydrogen

Things Required: Test tubes, an acid and a metal ribbon

Procedure:

Step:1. Take one tube and add some acid in it

Step:2. Take a metal ribbon and put it in that acid tube

Step:3. cover the tube with an other tube to collect the gas

Step:4. Take the tube which collect the gas

Step:4. check the presence of gas with lighted match stick

Observation:

we observe that when we keep the lighted match stick near to tube the pooping sound comes and steam appears

Result:

The pooping sound and appearance of steam proved that hydrogen gas is produced from the reaction acid and metal
