Adverbs
An adverb is a word that describes a verb (he sings loudly), and adjective (very tall) or another adverb (ended too quickly).
Adverbs often end in -ly, but some (such as fast) look exactly the same as their adjective counterparts

Prepositions
A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence. They act to connect the people, objects, time and locations of a sentence.
Prepositions are usually short words, and they are normally placed directly in front of nouns.
Example: on, before, around, behind, in , along, among, across, below, near, towards, upon, within, between, beneath, beside

Using adjectives to make images visual.
Writers can use powerful adjectives and verbs to make their writing more interesting and effective.
Examples: The boy jumped onto the stage
The skinny boy sprang dramatically onto the amazing stage.
skinny = adjective describing the noun boy
sprang = a powerful replacement for jump
dramatically= adverb describing the verb sprang
amazing= adjective describing the noun stage.
