  • Determine if you can write a general (only 2 x-intercepts or a double zero) or a specific equation (2 x-intercepts and a 3rd point)

  • Write down the formula y=k(x-x1)(x-x2)

  • Fill in what you know

  • If you can only write a general equation make a statement about k. (
