We are going to begin our figurative language analysis through music project today. You need the google doc with the song lyrics you found for homework open throughout the day.

To begin:
Open your google doc with lyrics if it is not open yet.
Read through the lyrics once without making any highlights.
Read through the lyrics a second time with figurative language definitions open to reference and help you find it all.
Highlight all pieces of figurative language.

Create the next page on your google doc
Title it, "Types of Figurative Language"
Copy and paste each individual piece of figurative language
Say what each piece of figurative language is
Explain how the figurative language is used in that section
