Tvoření minulého času u pravidelných sloves - opakování

• -ed (většina slovesa): worked, painted, cooked...

• slovesa končící na -e přidávají jen -d: danced, freed, died ...

• slovesa, zakončená na -y se mění v -ied: cried, tried, fried... x played

• zdvojování (u sloves s krátkou samohláskou zakončených krátkou souhláskou): stopped, chatted, planned...

Tvoření záporu (pomocné sloveso didn´t / did not)

• I didn´t chat to him.

Tvoření otázky (pomocné sloveso DID)
