Table Manners
Using table manners shows the people that you are eating with that you are polite. It also demonstrates that you respect the people who prepared the meal and will clean up afterward. Table manners prevent you from making too much of a mess. For example, using silverware keeps food off of your fingers.

10 Tips for better manners at the table
1.Come to the table with hands and face clean. Not only does this show respect for the person who prepared the meal as well as others at the dinner table, but it is also an important healthy hygiene habit
2.Always ask if you can help. Whether at home or someone else’s house, always ask the grown-up if you can help do anything to get ready for dinner.
3.Wait until everyone is served before eating. Avoid beginning to eat until everyone is seated and served.

10.If eating at home, always pick up your plate, clean your mess at the table, and say thank you or compliment the person who prepared or purchased the meal.
