What is causative form?

  • Causative form is used when we do not do something ourselves, but we arrange for someone else to do it for us.

  • Have you watched the video given in your GCR? If no, please watch it first before you go to the next slide.

There are 3 types of conditional sentences. We have done type 1and 2 (refer to page 59).

Below are example of conditional sentences

Study the notes below.

  • Conditional Sentence Type 1→  It is possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled.

    Example: If I find her address, I’ll send her an invitation.

  • Conditional Sentence Type 2→ It is possible but very unlikely, that the condition will be fulfilled.

    Example: If I found her address, I would send her an invitation.

  • Conditional Sentence Type 3→ It is impossible that the condition will be fulfilled because it refers to the past.

    Example: If I had found her address, I would have sent her an invitation.
