A is for Addition

Addition is the process of finding the sum by combining two to more numbers together.

B is for Base ten

Base ten is a process that we group numbers in tens. When counting in base ten we use the digits 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 to represent 10

C is for cents

Ex: 10 nickels + 5 dimes = 1 dollar.

D is for Division

Division is a proses that numbers are combined to make new numbers.

E is for Equivalent

being the same in a sertant thing.

F is for Fractions

a numerical quantity that is not a whole number.

G is for Grade

Ex: a Grade on a test

H is for Hundredth

I is for Improper fraction

Ex: 5/3 and 9/8 are improper fractions because the top is bigger than the bottom

Jumping Strategy

Jumping by parts of a number to solve a calculation.
