  • Action/situation in the past that is still true now:

    Example: School has not started yet.

  • Action that stopped recently

    Example: She has cooked dinner, and now we're going to eat.

  • Finished action that has an influence on the present Example: I have lost my key(so I'm stuck outside)..

  • Action that has taken place once, never or several times before the moment of speaking

    Example: I have never been to Australia.

  • Positive= subject+ have/has+ verb 3

    School has started already. We have had many visitors recently.

  • Negative=subject+have/has+not+verb 3

    School hasn't started yet.

  • Question=have/has+subject++verb 3

    Hasn't school started today?.

  • never- I've never forgiven him.

  • already-I've already eaten.

  • since- I haven't eaten since yesterday.

  • just- We have just arrived

  • yet- She hasn't married him yet.
