Your future will be full of email communication
Doing it well, will often be the difference between relationship going well or not
There are some simple rules for you to remember that will serve you well

Don't make it too long.
Try and stick to one point. Saying or asking lots of things/questions might mean that things get lost.
If you have more than one question - maybe ask if you can speak or have a phonecall with the person
Use grammarly or online checkers to make sure you've got all your grammar and punctuation correct.

Emails are less formal than letters
No need for Yours sincerely or Yours faithfully
The best way is either Kind Regards or Best Wishes
Then use your full name

Write an email to me, explaining that you have forgotten your pencil case for Life Skills. Apologise and suggest it won't happen again!
Use the correct email address - you can put this at the top.
Make sure you introduce it properly. Needs a title.
Ensure you are polite and courteous and don't make it too long.
