Main body of the text

Don't make it too long.

Try and stick to one point. Saying or asking lots of things/questions might mean that things get lost.

If you have more than one question - maybe ask if you can speak or have a phonecall with the person

Use grammarly or online checkers to make sure you've got all your grammar and punctuation correct.

11

Multiple Choice

You have a number of things you need to talk to me about - lost property, you are confused about a Geography lesson, you've lost your book for French, someone in your class has said something unkind to you - should you...?

1

Write a formal and long email to me outlining all your points

2

Make a note of everything and request a meeting by email so we can talk about them all

3

Not email, it will take too long, just try to remember to speak to me

12

Do not use emojis or text speak

However tempting it might be, and however used you are to writing on your phone, emojis and shorthand 'text speech' is not advisable on email.
