• 7 innings total- once both teams have batted, that's an inning.

• 3 strikes and you're out!

• Pop ball, tag person or base for an out

• 3 outs and teams switch

• Team with most runs at the end of 7 innings, WINS

SOFTBALL BASICS

• Ball must be hit inside of 1st and 3rd base lines to be a "fair ball"

• Balls outside these base lines are "foul balls"

• Pop balls caught is an out and runner must "TAG UP" or be out.

• Double play- 2 outs at once
