EXPECTATIONS You will learn to make an ending of the story or paragraph given. This is an important reading skill to be able to see the purpose in reading as well as to help you write a story or paragraph with a good ending.
Specifically, this module will help you to A. learn how to finish incomplete stories; B. give the appropriate ending of the story; and D. write a paragraph with an appropriate ending.

HELPING HAPPILY
After attending her class at Padre Burgos Elementary School, Lucita prepared herself to go home. While walking, Lucita saw a beggar. She was thin and old. Lucita wanted to help but she had only seven pesos and fifty centavos. It was just enough for her jeep fare in going home.
She remembered that there is no available public transport because of the community quarantine. “I will just walk home. This seven pesos and fifty centavos will help the beggar,” Lucita said to herself. Then, she placed the coins on the tin can near the beggar. Lucita was very happy as she walked home.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Some stories or paragraphs do not have endings. Do we need to know how to give the endings? Of course! How do we give the ending of the story?
The sentences in the paragraph give clues that help you make correct ending. Each sentence in the paragraph is called an event. The events will help you give the possible ending of the story.

Some stories do not have endings. A paragraph has events. These events help the readers in giving the ending of a story. The readers give what will happen next.
