Background Check

a process a person or company uses to verify that an individual is who they claim to be, and this provides an opportunity to check and confirm the validity of someone's criminal record, education, employment history, and other activities from their past.

Benefits

non-financial compensation provided to an employee as part of the employment contract.

Contract

a written or spoken agreement, especially one concerning employment, sales, or tenancy, that is intended to be enforceable by law.

Cover Letter

a written document commonly submitted with a job application outlining the applicant's credentials and interest in the open position.

Intern

a student or trainee who works, sometimes without pay, at a trade or occupation in order to gain work experience.

Interview

a formal meeting at which someone is asked questions in order to find out if they are suitable for a post of employment

Job Shadow

a type of on-the-job training where an employee learns from a more experienced colleague by following them and observing them.

Mentor

may help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources.
