Multiple Choice
Amanda was heading out of town to visit family when she noticed she was running low on gas. She pulled over at a rest stop refuel. She looked at her GPS and realized she was losing reception but wasn't too far from her destination. As she paid for the gas inside she grabbed a map and asked the cashier inside for directions.
"Hello Ma'am," Amanda smiled at the cashier. "I am looking to get to DarbeyTown, how much farther is that from here?"

The cashier replied,
Oh you aren't far at all, keep straight for 10 minutes and then make a right at the light then go 15 miles and make a left.

Amanda was relieved to hear that she wasn't far and that she also wouldn't have to buy another phone charger. Amanda paid for the map and thanked the cashier.
"Thank you!"
Thank you!
5
Multiple Choice
It wasn't before long that Amanda believed she misheard the cashier's directions. She hadn't seen a sign for DarbeyTown in miles. A man yelled out to Amanda,
Hey! Watch out!
"Hey! Watch out!"
6
Multiple Choice
Amanda looked up from the map just in enough time to dodge a deer in the road, swerving down into an embankment. She held tight to the steering wheel and screamed.
"Oh No!
Oh No!
"Oh No!"
7
Multiple Choice
The car ended upside down in a cave but Amanda was ok. She crawled out of the car and had no idea where she was. She was miles away from the highway now. She looked around, eyes wide. It was dark now and she was afraid, she called out,
"Hello? Is anyone there?"
Hello? Is anyone there
Hello Is anyone there."

Multiple Choice
To Amanda's surprise a voice answered back,
yes child! walk towards the sound of my voice
"Yes child! walk towards the sound of my voice.
"Yes child! Walk towards the sound of my voice!"
9
Multiple Choice
Amanda was not sure if she should go towards the voice. She had no idea who was on the other side of the darkness. Before she took another step she asked,
who are you? Where are you?! Where am I?!
"Who are you? Where are you?! Where am I?!"
Who are you? "where are you?!" Where am I?!

The voice called back, to Amanda,
"what does it matter? you want to get out of here alive don't you?

Then there was a loud thud! Amanda shuddered and decided she better make a move fast but also be smart about what she was walking into. She answered to the voice,
"Fine, sing a song or something so that I know which way to go."

Fine, "sing a song or something so that I know which way" to go.

The next thing Amanda heard was an eerie lullaby in the darkness, the more she walked the louder the song became. She could then see a glimpse of light up ahead. She began to run towards the light when she tripped and fell to the ground. That is when she heard,
"so you thought you were going to escape?!"
"So you thought you were going to escape?!"
13
Multiple Choice
Amanda winced as she tried to get back up, she had fallen hard on her elbow but knew she couldn't worry about that now. She yelled back at the voice in the darkness,
"I know I am going to escape!"
"i know I am going to escape"!
14
Multiple Choice
Amanda jumped to her feet and began sprinting towards the light at the end of the tunnel. She saw the walls around her begin to crumble to the ground. She turned around to look behind her to see glowing green eyes and the eerie lullaby she once heard turned into a howl. She turned back around and leapt out of the darkness as the exit to the cave sealed shut with rocks and debris. In agony and relief she said,
That is the last time I ask anyone for directions in my life!
"That is the last time I ask anyone for directions in my life!"
"that is the last time I ask anyone for directions in my life!"
