• example: Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison

• is an individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards.

• examples: Jeff Bezos; Amazon, Bill Gates; Microsoft,Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs
