Grammar Rules - Example

• I play tennis every Sunday.

• I’m playing hockey now.

• She eats fruit every day.

• She’s eating an apple now.

• Perhatikan perkataan yang ditanda merah

• Ia merupakan kata kerja atau dikenali sebagai verbs

Remember!

• Kita gunakan Present Simple untuk menyatakan mengenai sesuatu kebiasaan yang kita lakukan setiap hari atau setiap minggu.

• I watch cartoons every day.

• Kita gunakan Present Continous untuk menceritakan tentang perkara yang kita lakukan sekarang

• I’m watching a film now.

Be careful!

• Untuk Present Simple, tambah 's' atau 'es' untuk he / she / it.

• Ayat negatif ditulis dengan didn't atau doesn't

• My dad makes dinner every evening. He doesn’t make lunch.

• Untuk Present Continous guna verb 'to-be' dan sambungan 'ing', dan tambah perkataan not untuk ayat negatif

• We are studying English now. We aren’t studying maths.

We say... We don’t say...

• I wake up every morning at 7:00. (BUKAN I am waking up every morning at 7:00.)

• She is talking on the phone now. (BUKAN She talks on the phone now.)

• They aren’t reading a book now. (BUKAN They don’t reading a book now.)
