A goal is an aim an individual or group work towards; an object of ambition/ effort

The difference between short and long term goals
Short-Term goals are goals that can be done in a short time, and are often set to achieve a Long-Term goal.

How to Develop Goals
Be set with a Specific goal
Should be Measurable, and Achievable, allowing to track progress.
A goal should be something an individual can be motivated toward achieving.

Attainable: I will check with other Level 1 cadets to see if my uniform is correct.
Timely: I will start at this week’s parade night.
