Sikhism:

• Members of Sikhism soon joined the fighting armies and became a strong military force who later initiated several clashes with the rulers of India.

• When India became occupied by the British Council forces during later centuries, the Muslims revoutionaries participated in the Revolt against those forces until they diminished the British powers and helps India gain its freedom.

• One of the greatest leaders of these struggles was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi known as Mahatma Gandhi.

India Muslims:

• Today, Indian Muslims form the third largest population in the world with a total of around 11% of the world's Muslims population.

• Muslims personal law is applied in official matters such as marriage and inheritance.

• The Indian government is the only government in the world which finances the affair for Hajj pilgrimage.
