what is a range?

The range of a data set is the difference between the largest and smallest values in the set.

1,3,4,2,5,6

The highest minus the lowest is our range

6 - 1 = 5

What is a Mode?

The number that occur the most in a set of numbers.

( 3,4,4,4,7,8,9,6). The number 4 appears more than all the numbers.

4 is our mode.

What is the Least

•  lowest in consideration, position, or importance.

• 1,4,4,5,6,7. I

• 1 appear only one time

What is the meaning of the term greatest in math?

The biggest number found in the set
