Extension 3 - Session 17: Pronunciation & Speaking

I commute to work everyday, it’s very tiring.

I don't have a car, so I take the bus.

The train ride takes around 20 minutes.

 If I walk to work, it takes only a few minutes.

I usually avoid taking the subway.

All in all, commuting takes an hour and a half.

 I drive to work because I don’t live near the station.

When the traffic is heavy, it takes a long time for me to get there.

If I ride the bus, it takes me twice as long.

On a good day, commuting takes around one hour.
