What is the 1-1-1 Rule?
That a word must have 1 syllable, 1 vowel and 1 consonant.
Arule you have to follow when spelling new words in another language

The 1-1-1 Rule
The word must be 1 syllable only
The word must have only 1 vowel (A,E,I,O,U)
There can only be 1 consonant at the end of the word
If all these rules are there then you must double up the last consonant to add -ing or -ed
