  • Used most often

  • Used to tell something or simple give information

  • Ends with a period (.)

  • Example: An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

  • Commonly used when you want to find out answers or know more about something

  • You ask a question

  • Ends with a question mark (?)

  • Example: Doctor, why is an apple healthy for you?

  • Used to express strong emotions whether positive or negative

  • It can be used when you are angry, excited, surprised, really frustrated, very happy

  • Examples:
