Adverbs of time

Adverbs of time tell us when an action happened, but also for how long, and how often. Adverbs of time are invariable. They are extremely common in English.

Adverbs that tell us "when" are usually placed at the end of the sentence.

• Last Year

Examples:

• Jesse started her drive lessons yesterday.

• We´re going to the movies tomorrow.

• Kathy and Roy will take the dinner later.

• Don´t stop me now!

• Santa didn´t come to my house last year.
