Subject Pronoun

• I believe in God our Father.

• You believe in Jesus Christ.

• He suffered under Pontius Pilate.

Object Pronoun

• God created me.

• God made you.

• And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

• Jesus did not condemn her.

• Jesus pay it all.

• God loves us.

• God hear them.

I know Jovan. He is a friendly person.

I like Jovan. I know him well.

A pronoun has the same meaning as a noun.

In grammar, we say that a pronoun "refers to" a noun. The pronouns he and him refer to the noun Jovan.

I have a black phone. It is on my desk.

Sometimes a pronoun refers to a "noun phrase."

It refers to the whole phrase a black phone.
