Regular -AR verbs - follow a pattern

There are 3 types of verbs...verbs that end in -AR, -ER, and -IR in the infinitive.

How do we get to the stem?

The stem of the verb is the remaining letters after we DROP the letters -AR off the end of the infinitive of the verb.

Think of the verb as a flower….hablar. Once we take off the -AR, we are left with the STEM….  HABL


Now we add back the endings that go with each pronoun
