Tuning

You know the drill

1st position scale

• begin saying letter names of the open strings

• this pattern will be used for several assessments 3rd quarter

• Practice down playing the pattern and saying the letter names of the open strings

New Pattern-Minor Pentatonic Scale

• We'll be using this some next semester

• This is a good pattern to use as the basis for soloing over a chord pattern

Chords we have learned so far

• This is a 3x weighted summative assessment

• We will play this along with a metronome so you can see what you have to do for your assignment

• Remember when you are recording to have whatever camera you are using level with your left hand so that I can see the fingers on the strings and frets.
