These are the things you need to notice and listen for

1)  What are your first impressions of the music that you hear?

Describe the mood and setting of each song. What images or

thoughts are you reminded of?


2)  What do you think the text of the song is describing (what is it

about)?


3)  Analyze the choir’s performance. Are their words easy to

understand? Are the pitches solid and in tune? Does the

ensemble sound unified or do some voices stand out from the

rest?

    or other instruments? Please explain.
