How do we form Present Continuous Tense?

Usage:

• when we talk about something which is hapenning at the time of speaking:

• when we talk about something which is hapenning around the time of speaking, but not necessarily exactly at the time of speaking

• when we talk about a period around the present ( today, this season etc.)

• when we talk about changing situations

• when we say what someone has arranged to do ( to meet someone, to travel somewhere etc.)

Examples:

• Please don't make so much noise. I'm studying.

• Tom and Ann are talking and drinking in a cafe.

• Tom isn't playing football this season. He wants to concentrate on his studies

• Is your English getting better?

• Alex is getting married next month.

Ann is driving to work.

Ann is in her car. She is on her way to work.

He is teasing the cat all the time.
