• We see this in the New Testament with the word "qahal" which means "assembly or or community"

The purposes of Priest, Prophet and King

Christ was able to fulfill all this upon earth through the offices of Priest, prophet, and king

He was a prophet, because he told of the glory of God and professed the coming of the Kingdom of heaven

He was Priest because he offered the greatest sacrifice (HIMSELF UPON THE CROSS)

He was King, because he was the son of man, or the son of God. He told us of the kingdom of heaven.
