What Are Adverbs?

Adverbs describes a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. it tells us how, where, how-much and when something happened.

Examples Of Adverbs

The man ran quickly.In this sentence, the word quickly, says how did the man run.

How many types of adverbs are there?

There are three types of adverbs.

What are the types of adverbs?

The types are-
1. Adverb of manner- It shows how is an action done. Ex: quickly, smoothly, soothingly etc.
2. Adverb of time- It shows when is an action done. Ex: tonight, soon, now, later etc.
3. Adverb of place- It shows where is an action done. Ex: down the street, next to me, beside the shop etc.
