Starter.

Times table buzz.

Table 5

Students count quickly from 0 onwards, when they reach a number which is a multiple of 5, that student shouts buzz eg 1, 2, 3, 4, buzz, 6, 7, 8, 9, buzz, 11, 12, 13, 14, buzz etc. The student that is unable to say quickly is out of the game. The last 3 standing win the game.

Multiplication facts of 3,4,6

Write the tables of 3,4,6 eg

3 x 1 = 3

3 x 2 = 6

3 x 3 = 9

3 x 4 = 12

3 x 5 = 15

3 x 6 = 18

3 x 7 = 21

3 x 8 = 24

3 x 9 = 27

3 x 10 =30

Let them master the end result and pattern. Do the same with 4 and 6
