Today you will be able to identify the correct linking verb in a sentence.

• A linking verb does not show action. 

• It links, or connects, the subject to a noun or an adjective(describing word) in the predicate.

Other linking verbs include look, seem, appear, become, feel, grow, smell, and taste.
