The “Health Triangle” represents YOU and your overall health and well-being.
Good health is often pictured as a triangle with all sides being equal. All 3 sides of the health triangle are connected and affect each other.
8
Unhealthy Health Triangle
If you ignore any one side of your health triangle, your total health suffers.
Example: Clare does not like to eat vegetables or exercise. She never goes to bed before 11:00 p.m. on school nights. She has some good friends and seems happy. This shows you that Clare has good mental/emotional health and is very social, but is not taking good care of her physical health.
9
To show you how all the sides of your health triangle are connected, and how they affect your overall health let’s take a look at this example.
Example: When you participate in physical activities you improve your physical health. This helps you feel good about yourself, benefitting your mental health. Activities can also improve your social health when you share them with family and friends.

Learning new things - leads to us discovering more about ourselves.
We find out what we like and what we do not like.
We find out that we have new talents, skills and interest that we never knew we had before.
This will cause us to believe in ourselves and our abilities which will then cause us to not to be as afraid to try other new things in life.
