• have/has + past participle

Past Participle

• regular verbs +  –ed / -d

  (liked, walked, worked, talked...)

• irregular verbs – memorize the 3rd column of irregular verbs

  (been, seen, had, eaten, written...)

Usage

• to tell what you have done recently/ lately

• to tell what you have just or already done

• to tell what you have never/ ever done

• to tell what you have done so far/ up to now

• to tell what you have done today/ this week/ this month/ this year

• actions that started in the past and have continued into the present

• when the precise time of the action is not important or unknown
