We use comparatives to compare two persons, and we use "more than" or "er than"

For example:

Big -> Bigger than

The superlatives are used to talk about the most big, most smart, etc.

There's no one bigger or smarter than that person or animal.

For the superlatives, we use:

THE MOST - for long adjectives

THE _EST - for short adjectives

For example:

Intelligent -> THE MOST intelligent

Happy -> THE happiEST
