Today we will look at the basics of starting up a jet engine

Step 1

ensure your facility has no F.O.

Step 2

Have an outside source of air to start rotating the engine. Example (-60)

Step 3

Once you reached your minimum RPM, advance throttle to IDLE. This will give the engine fuel and ignition.
