You have already learnt in chapter 5...

Many plants like tulsi, garlic, clove, mint, and ginger are used for medicines. Herbal plants and their parts like the ones given below have great medicinal value.

1. For cough

A mix of ginger, pepper, and honey soothes the throat.

2. For toothache:

Clove oil on the tooth relieves pain.

3. For stomach ache:

Chew some saunf and gulp a spoonful of ajwin and salt with warm water.

4. For digestion:

Fresh leaf juice of mint mixed with lime juice and honey cures indigestion.

Apart from this, there are few immunity boosters

Golden Milk

It is a decoction of turmeric, ginger, garlic, and pepper boiled in milk. And you can add Jaggery too to sweeten it after the decoction cools down a little.

Kadha

It is a decoction of Giloy, Turmeric, Ginger, and Pepper boiled in water.

Other useful medicinal usages of plants...

Amala, Lemon, Garlic, Turmeric, and Ginger-It boosts immunity.

Turmeric also helps to heal wounds and makes your bones strong. It reduces pain also.
