MENSURATION

Mensuration is a part of mathematics that deals with the measurement of length , area or volume of various geometric shape.

1. SHAPES

• A shape is the form of an object.

• Examples of two-dimensional shapes are square , rectangle and triangle , and of three dimensional shapes are cube , cuboid , and sphere.

  
  

Now Lets understand what is Perimeter ??

Perimeter

The region which is covered by boundary of a shape or a figure is called perimeter.

Now we have to find its perimeter. 

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(5+10)

= 2(15)

= 30 m^2
