An ACTION VERB is a word that expresses action and tells us what the subject of the sentence does or did.

Direct and Indirect Objects

• Remember SVO??? (Subject Verb Object)

• There are two types of OBJECTS in a sentence: Direct and Indirect.

Read the definitions carefully.
