Most REGULAR VERBS

• add -ed at the end of the verb.

• For example: walk -> walked

• Ms. Johnson walked to the park for a stroll.

If the verbs end with -e, we add -d

• For example: die -> died

• She was hit by a truck and died.

• NOTE:

• die, died >> VERBS

• dead >> ADJECTIVE

If the verbs end with consonant + y

• delete -y and add -ied

• For example: marry -> married

• Miss Moore married Dave.
