• For example, we affect our environment by polluting it, building on it, and cleaning it. We build dams and fill in swamps. Our environment affects us by making us sick, changing weather conditions, deciding what to do outside, and where we live. We adapt to our environment by, wearing shorts, wearing coats, and carrying umbrellas, to suit the weather.
