Minimizing Distractions

• Have a dedicated time (or times) for work

• Turn your phone off or put it away, close excess tabs, turn off the TV, etc.

• Communicate boundaries with friends ("I'd love to talk, but I need to do my work right now. Maybe after school?")

• Don't try to multi-task - Focus on one thing at a time
